Written fee agreements
A different fee applies only where it has been provided to the client in writing and accepted by both parties. Otherwise, the following standard charges apply:
- Work and services: R2,000 per hour.
- Telephone consultations: R200 per call lasting up to 15 minutes, plus R200 for each additional 15-minute block or part thereof.
- Travel: R5.40 per kilometre travelled in connection with the client’s project, work or services.
- External specialists: Where engineers or other subject matter experts are engaged, including for incident investigations, their costs are charged separately. 24 Law will pay the specialist, and the client must reimburse 24 Law for the amount paid.
Payment
Invoices are payable within seven days of the invoice date.
